Call for Poject Proposals: French Solidarity Programme

“Strengthening the Professional Skills of Civil Society Organisations in Ghana”

Request for proposals from Ghanaian Civil Society Organisations

Duration:12 to 15 Months
Deadline for Submission:29th June 2017 at 4 pm GMT(both soft copy and hard copy)
Start Date: August 2017

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France aims to strengthen civil societies across the globe. The French Embassy of Ghana is, therefore, calling on Ghanaian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to respond to this call for proposals on governance and environmental submissions.

A total of four projects will be chosen: two with the theme democratic governance and the other two projects promoting good environmental practices especially related to climate change and small-scale mining. Projects that would emphasise on women and youth participation, conflict resolution and actions supporting the Open Government Partnership would be valued.

The application form and terms of reference can be downloaded from the website of the Embassy of France in Ghana at www.ambafrance-gh.org.

Applicants must drop a hard copy of their proposal at the security post of the French Embassy from Monday to Thursday, between 8 am and 4 pm and also email the full application to fsp4ghana@gmail.com as one PDF file.

Applications that do not follow the guidelines will not be accepted.

The Institute has a resource centre that is open to civil society actors in the region. It serves as a library of civil society documents, research reports and edited volumes that are accessible to both individuals and organisations.
