Onsite Coaching Programme Report
Between 2012 and 2015, WACSI Implemented a capacity development programme for 26 civil society organisations from 4 francophone countries in West Africa. This programme comprised of a face-to-face training phase, an onsite coaching phase, mentoring and the collection of change stories. The Onsite Coaching activity held from 27 February to 21 May, 2014 in four (4) Francophone West African targeted countries (Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea and Niger).

The 3-day training course organised from 26-28 March, 2014 on Resource Mobilisation and Proposal Writing is part of the WACSI-driven courses, often referred to as in-house initiatives aiming at strengthening the capacity of individuals and organisations who seek to enhance their skills in resource harnessing and contribute towards a more effective approach to their organisational sustainability.
Post-Training Evaluation Report: Facilitation skills, Policy Advocacy and Engagement, and Networking and Alliance Building Training
IFES Liberia approached WACSI to deliver a 6-day training in Training and Facilitation Skills, Policy Advocacy and Networking and Alliance Building respectively. The trainings were held from 27 January - 1 February, 2014 in Corina Hotel, Monrovia, Liberia. The overarching goal of this course was to introduce 25 IFES Partner CSOs to the concept of policy advocacy and engagement by contributing towards a deeper understanding of public policy making and influencing processes.

The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) was approached by IFES Liberia Office to deliver a 6-day training in Facilitation skills, Policy Advocacy and Engagement, and Networking and Alliance Building (NAB). The training held from January 27-February 1st, 2014 in Corina Hotel, Monrovia for 25 National Civil Society Council of Liberia (NCSCL) members.
